Guest Review: “Verity Sparks and the Scarlet Hand”

verity-sparks-and-the-scarlet-handWe received this delightful guest review from young reader Zoe Lewis. Thanks, Zoe! Please write us more reviews!

Verity Sparks and the Scarlet Hand is the third book in the Verity Sparks series so far. Like the other books Verity has to use her telegativisim (ability to see visions and find lost things) to solve a mystery. In this book Verity’s friends are kidnapped and she has to use her telegativisim to find them. Along the way she sees visions that are clues to help her solve the mystery. I enjoyed this book and never wanted to put it down. It keeps you hooked with a cliff-hanger at the end of every chapter. People who like mysteries will love this book. If you like Nancy Drew, Truly Tan, Tensy Farlow or The Accidental Princess, you will love this book.

I recently loaned the first Verity Sparks to a friend and she read it in one weekend. Anyone can read this book from ages 8-100,000,000. Even my mum loved it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.

Verity Sparks and the Scarlet Hand – Susan Green – PB – Walker Books – $16.95
