Children’s Book Council Awards Shortlist

The shortlists for the various categories of the Children’s Book Council Awards has been announced.  This is a showcase of Australian writing for children, and we are very happy to see that some local authors have been included in the lists.  Nicki Greenberg is on the picture book short list for her  pictorial depiction of Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Michael Pryor is on the notable list for the installment of his Laws of Magic series Moment of Truth. Well done to both of them.

The winners will be announced at the beginning of Children’s Book Week, on Friday 19th August.  Good luck to all the nominated authors and illustrators.
