Join Amy & Elder ‘Across the Universe’ for a sensational tale!

Across the Universe by Beth Revis, PB $19.95

This incredible debut novel from American high school teacher Beth Revis has a myriad of wonderful qualities. Although described as sci-f/romance young adult fiction, Across the Universe can definitely be enjoyed by adults as well as older kids.

The story is told from two different points of view; 15 year old Amy who was woken up 50 years early from a cryogenic sleep and 17 year old Elder who is supposed to become the new leader of the ship on which Amy has been frozen.

Beth Revis creates a completely new and intriguing world upon a ship that is flying towards a ‘new earth’ with vividly believable characters. Profound philosophical values and questions are brought to the surface and morality is constantly questioned. Across the Universe has sweet romance, gripping mystery and intriguing new technologies and is the first book in what will no doubt be an extremely successful series!
