Text Classics. Aussie Gold.

You may have read some articles about Michael Heyward of Text Publishing in the last few weeks about the sorry state of Australian literary classics, and that many of them have been out of print for some time.  He is on the job and resurrecting some of them in neat new editions which have lovely original art work on the covers.  The authors represented are Helen Garner, Miles Franklin, David Ireland, Peter Temple, Robin Boyd, Martin Boyd, Watkin Tench, Thomas Keneally, Barbara Harrower and more.  There are 30 titles currently, and I believe more will be released later this year.  They are $12.95 and for a short time (while stocks last) we have a lovely carry bag which you can receive free if you buy two of the titles.  It’s a good offer, so fill in some of the gaps in your Australian literary education soon.
