Can you believe it is 50 year since the lovely Audrey Hepburn starred in Breakfast at Tiffany’s? This book tells the story of the scriptwriting, casting (apparently Truman Capote wanted to play the romantic lead!!!!!) the style and costumes.
It is lavishly illustrated with lots of photos, and some of the fashion illustrations for the clothes. The book is a large format, the cover is Tiffany’s famous duck egg blue, and of course Audrey is on the cover. It is a lovely souvenir of an iconic movie. Hardback, $45.
Also available is Breakfast at Tiffany’s (PB $9.95) by Truman Capote, on which the movie is based, in a Popular Penguin edition.
