The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod

Vladimir Tod is a vampire who doesn’t take himself too seriously. He goes to school, hides his bags of blood at lunchtime and though he has full control over his biting tendencies, it’s really best his fangs are kept a secret. Only Aunt Nelly and his best friend Henry know the truth. But when a strange new teacher, Mr Otis, replaces Vlad’s missing English teacher it suddenly becomes a whole lot harder to keep his fear of garlic hidden.

Heather Brewer’s new series is fang fiction with a serious twist. With fewer meaningful looks and more laughs than your average vampire tale, Vladimir Tod is the vampire for people who can’t stand vampires.

Now instore are the first two in the series; #1: Eighth Grade Bites and #2: Ninth Grade Slays (both PB $14.95). The next instalments, #3: Tenth Grade Bleeds, and #4: Eleventh Grade Burns are due out in September.
